Obtaining & Using Energy
- Autotrophs- Organisms that make their own food-Use energy to start Photosynthesis
- Heterotroph- Organism that obtain energy from food-Use energy to produce organic compounds
- ADP- Are like half charged batteries and ATP- Are like Fully charged batteries
- ATP can store more energy than ADP
- Photosynthesis - the process by which green plants and some other organisms use sunlight to synthesize foods from carbon dioxide and water
- Photosynthesis is only used by plants. During photosynthesis plant need Sunlight, Water, & Carbon dioxide. Once they have this plants start to produce They also use it to grow
- Cellular Respiration -The chemical process that generates most of the energy in the cell, supplying molecules needed to make the metabolic reactions (see metabolism) of an organism run.
- Cellular respiration, it carries oxygen to the cells. If you exercising cellular respiration will keep you energized. Not controlling your breathing can put more stress on your muscle. Cellular mainly takes place in the Mitochondria.
- Photosynthesis vs. Cellular Respiration -.
